7 people from Valve got together for a weekend to do a game jam. The theme was 'Headcrab Lamarr' and the bonus sub-theme was 'hats'. We created all the design, art, sound*, music**, and programming over the next 48 hours to create a game with the Construct 2 game maker tool.

It was a first game jam for many of us (including me), but we came out of it with something playable. Lamarr Goes to the Zoo is the final result!

The Construct 2 project files are also available if you want to see how we implemented things. None of us were familiar with the tool at the start, so watch out for the hacks and inefficiencies created as we learned and worked under time pressure.

(*We used some of the original HL2 headcrab sounds. **The credits song was created by me and Joshua Billeaudeau 10 years ago for Gun-Fu: Disco of Crime, but we never ended up using it for anything. We ran out of time and subbed this in.)
